The Barnard Fire Department provided EMS support for the motorcycle ride on Sunday September 8th. 2024 marks the 24th annual Operation Patriot “Let’s Roll” 9/11 Tribute Ride. This motorcycle-only ride is one of the largest parade-style rides in New York State, totaling over 50 miles. The participants began at Charlotte Beach and headed West, riding past the 9/11 Memorial in Brockport, NY.
Squad 226 of the Barnard Fire District was in attendance and part of the procession, ensuring there was immediate paramedic care provided to all the participants.

This 9/11 ride is put on by Operation Patriot Foundation, Inc, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting fire, police and military personnel in their time of need. In the past 3 years alone they’ve raised an average of $22,000 a year, with all proceeds from this year’s event to support the Crime Stoppers K9 Initiative.
