Tuesday and Wednesday evenings this week, all 4 Town Fire Districts along with the Red Cross and Marks Pizzeria teamed up. The goal was to make sure that every resident that ordered a pizza that evening, also had a working smoke detector in their homes. Fire crews from Barnard, Lake Shore, North Greece and Ridge Road all were on hand to assist with the pizza delivery and check the smoke detectors. Anyone in need of a smoke detector was supplied one and the crews installed them as well. A huge thank you and shout out to Marks Pizzeria for working with us to keep our residents safe, from a tragic fire.
