Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Barnard Fire District is to protect the lives and property of the citizens and visitors, by providing the highest possible levels of service through fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, public education and mitigation of the effects of natural and man made disasters, consistent with the resources provided.

The District is dedicated to maintaining an efficient and progressive organization that is committed to retaining and motivating talented, dedicated career and volunteer people. The District is committed to high ethical standards and open communications to all levels of the organization.
