Barnard provides Rescue Training for the regional STEP Conference

A crew from Barnard provided specialized rescue and extrication training today for attendees of the regional STEP Conference. This was one of the hands-on training topics offered during the two-day seminar. While the training conference originally focused on EMS fields, the Fire Service has now joined this annual seminar. This partnership allows fire personnel to share technical fire tactics and also address the EMS aspect of their service.

Robbens Nest Stitchery in Penfield and The Upstate NY Life Support Training Company offered generous financial support, making this training possible. Community members are encouraged to support these businesses, as they play a vital role in supporting our local operations.
